Sure, my friends and I have done stuff similar to that. With nosebleeds, we rarely transport around tissues, but one of us always hold a tampon, and it stops the bleeding.

Uh, if you involve that much to stop the bleeding-then maybe you have need of to go to the hospital. Why stick a wipe on your arm. Is it a papercut and a drop of blood or is your arm open let say-down to the white?

i guess you could but i wouldnt i would get a thesis towel or toilet paper and cartridge it the cut,and you may want to put neosporin on it before you but the plaster on, it helps it treat and stops the pain
If you're in close proximity a box of pads sure but why not use something simple similar to a towel, your shirt or socks until you get to the doctor. Just create sure you keep the sticky side up and don't strip the paper stale.
